    Henri Ducard/Ra's al Ghul

    In Christopher Nolan's film Batman Begins, Neeson played the role of one of Batman's two main antagonists of the film, Ra's al Ghul.

    Ra's al Ghul was initially introduced to Bruce Wayne as Henri Ducard, and trained Bruce in the ways of the League of Shadows, teaching him the skills necessary to become Gotham's dark knight-- the Batman. He later revealed his true identity when he came to "cleanse" Gotham of its decadence.

    Although his character died, he returned in the third installment of the Dark Knight trilogy - The Dark Knight Rises - as a figment of Batman's imagination.
