Origin
A young military leader and son of a very well renown general, Li Shang is in charge of the regiment Mulan joins while in disguise. He is tasked with training his soldiers who at first prove inept. He questions if they gave him daughters, when he asked for sons. He repeatedly vows to make a man out of you! Eventually he is able to whip his men into shape and leads them to battle against the Huns. Li Shang and Mulan retreat with the rest of their regiment to the Imperial City where they defeat the Huns. He eventually marries Mulan.
