Leviathan originated in the post-WWII Russian state. As the Cold War began, then progressed, Leviathan was transformed into a reflection of that culture. At the height of its power, the Soviet Union employed over 100,000 case officers and covert operatives. Publicly, it was the face of Russian spycraft. Its shadow organization, Leviathan was less known but just as massive and twice as dangerous. One cold day, every Leviathan agent on the face of the planet disappeared.
