    This volume sees Jacques Martin shifting his artistic style to be more in line with the ligne claire style seen in Tintin and others that were popular in the 1950s. It is more cartoony than the earlier works and had not yet matured to the masterful work seen from Les Legiones Perdues, but it is more advanced than the earlier adventures.
