Weak start for a great series 0
The Alix series is well known for its great art in each panel and on every page. It certainly didn't start out that way, but it started a long, long time ago. After reading Alix L'Intrepide, for a while, there is a real disjointed flavor, indicative of a serial. It's like something random and different happens to Alix on every 4th page.
