Laura Barton

Origin

Laura was Clint Barton (Hawkeye)'s girlfriend and later wife. The two of them had two children not much later.

Creation

Laura Barton was created by Mark Miller and Bryan Hitch and first appeared in The Ultimates 2 issue 2 (2005). She has solely appeared in the alternate reality 1610, known as the Ultimate Universe.

Major Story Arcs

Death

As part of Loki's plot to undermine the Ultimates and tear the team apart from the inside, Laura and the kids were shot and killed by Black Widow whom turned out to be a traitor whom worked for the Liberators.

Though Hawkeye later avenged her by sending an arrow through the Black Widow's skull, Laura's death affected him greatly, causing him to fall into a depressed state and don a new, edgier persona.

Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015)

In the Avengers: Age of Ultron film, Clint Barton reveals that he owns his own farm land, and that he is married to a woman named Laura. They have two children, and a third on the way. She approves of his Avengers job and is very welcoming to the team when they need a place to lie low and regroup.

Laura is played by Linda Cardellini.

Avengers: Endgame

Linda Cardellini reprises the role in the prologue and epilogue of Avengers: Endgame.

She and her children are victims of Thanos' snap, sending Hawkeye down a dark road as the killer, Ronin. When she returns, she is one of the first to try and contact the Avengers by calling Clint.

Later, she can be seen reuniting with her husband on their family farm and then attending the funeral of Tony Stark.

Hawkeye

Linda Cardellini reprises again in the Disney+ Hawkeye series.

It is Christmas time, and Clint took his kids to New York City for some quality time together. Meanwhile, Laura remains on the family farm. She is in near constant contact with Clint when he gets roped into a conspiracy involving his old Ronin suit. She helps him by doing research in his old SHIELD files.

An old spy watch that belonged to Laura is also involved int he conspiracy. It reveals her as a retired SHIELD agent, designated Agent 19. This was the SHIELD designation of Mockingbird, Clint's ex-wife in the 616 universe.
