Tintin travels to Congo where he meets the African natives and exotic and wild animals of Africa. A chain of events lead him to the realm of Babaoro'm where he became chief of the tribe. By chance, he encounters a band of gangsters affiliated with Al Capone trying to control the production of diamonds in the Congo.
