    Originally thought to be chosen by chance, it was later revealed that Ganthet chose Kyle Rayner because he had the ability to harness the powers of the emotional spectrum. Once the Torchbearer of the Green Lantern Corps, Kyle graduated to the role Ganthet had intended for him: the White Lantern. After the White Ring is separated into seven rings, Kyle returns to being a Green Lantern Corpsman.

    Haven't been reading the book since it sucks, but yeah heard he returned from the incredible run with Omega Men, and he was in the final page of the last issue.

    The...Emerald Space? They're really pushing this Emerald thing...first Emerald Vision and now Emerald Space?....no thanks. GLC are just space cops using rings made of "science", they're not connected to some other-godly green source of whatever...

    Yeeeup, welcome to the new era GL, lol. Could count on one hand the number of good to great GL related stories in the past few years (and the best one was just featuring one, with Omega Men).
