    In this story, Korak escapes slave traders, defeats some poachers, and returns a warden and his daughter to civilization.

    Alone in the ocean in a canoe, trying to escape Arab slavers in a sailboat, the jungle boy is shot by a bullet, which luckily only grazed his head, and brought aboard the slavers' vessel to be sold as a slave.

    Dan Spiegle’s artwork is very good in this issue. In addition to providing his usual fan service by being a walking shirtless scene, Korak becomes a dude in distress in this story. While fishing alone in the ocean in a canoe, Korak encounters Arab slavers in a sailboat. Trying to escape, the jungle boy is shot by a bullet, which luckily only grazed his head, rendering him unconscious. The slavers bring the youth aboard to be sold as a slave.
