Rescuing a princess from a baying mob? Exactly the sort of thing to keep a young boy occupied!

In this story, after rescuing a girl queen and her mother from a lion, Korak is appointed regent, is wrongly accused of killing a political rival, and helps the girl and her injured mother escape from their own village.

Wrongly accused of pushing a political rival off a mountain to his death, the jungle boy is arrested for his murder, tied to a chair in the throne room to await trial, until he is rescued by a girl queen.
