    Origin

    Kleggs are crocodilian alien species who take mercenary work in return for fresh meat as payment - usually this is in the form of their opponents, but tyrants sometimes use their unfortunate subjects as currency to procure the Kleggs.

    Creation

    Kleggs first appeared in 2000 AD Prog 94 in the Judge Dredd strip, created by John Wagner, Alan Grant and Brian Bolland.
