Strange Visitor last edited by BuffaloDelorean on 02/24/24 10:11AM View full history

"Strange Visitor" kicks off what is arguably the greatest Elseworlds tale ever told. Kingdom Come, replete with grand storytelling and biblical prophecy, takes place in the near future when Superman has retired and a new, ruthlessly violent generation of "heroes" has corrupted the Earth, their questionable deeds culminating in the destruction of Kansas.

The Superhumans boasts that they've all but eliminated the super-villains of yesteryear.

    Kingdom Come Series 0

Could not get enough of this book! Truly the one of the most epic of any comics I have ever read. Second only to The Death of Superman, Planet Hulk, and Infinite Crisis. I literally finished this series in 6 hours, could not put it down. Phenomenal story telling, gave me a severe Bob Dylan vibe. A must read for any DC Comics fan!...

This series takes place over a decade into the future, telling of a time where the heroes of yesterday have been replaced by dangerous, super-powered individuals who cause more harm than good...
