    During this issue (which i really liked), Killer Frost thinks about her accident, and how the Crime Syndicate has doomed her.She needs Firestorm's energy to become normal again. If she only needs Firestorm's energy/matrix, couldnt she just try to take Deathstorm's?

    She's probably (rightfully) assuming that Deathstorm's matrix works differently.
    But hopefully the possibility will be explored in Forever Evil.
