Killer Croc
Character » Killer Croc appears in 1502 issues.
Waylon Jones was born with a genetic mutation giving him a reptile's skin, sharp claws, and teeth; due to genetic atavism. Croc became a circus wrestler who would rise to conquer the Gotham Mob racket only then to become one of Batman's most physically imposing rogues.
News Flash: Killer Croc isn't that powerful
Stop putting him up against super strong characters like Sabertooth and the Lizard. He's gonna lose badly every time.
This is a guy who loses to humans in hand to hand all the time. He doesn't even have super strength. He's just a big guy who looks kinda like a crocodile.
Now back to your regularly scheduled whatever.

That might be it actually.

I don't know. Croc was pretty pitiful in the cartoon too.
"
I swear I was thinking of that exact episode when I posted my comment. Specifically, the "I threw a rock at him" bit. That's uncanny.
You are something else.
That's Batman. Not Killer Croc." @High Revolutionary said:

Look above.
" @High Revolutionary said:" EXACTOMONDO! "They way they revealed it was amazing. "
Those cartoons were true gems.
some people have only read Hush, and croc was huge in that one, so maybe they thought he was really strong
"My favorite part is how later when they kidnap Batman Croc is like "Throw a rock at him!" "
he actually does throw a rock at him in a later episode when croc is out in the woods living with a family of circus freaks
" Do any of you guys know the name of this episode I think I want to watch it now lol. ""Almost got him."

I don't remember that, at all to be honest..

"Almost got 'im"?

He is a damn beast in Arkham Asylum. The only reason Batman survives against him is because he's wearing a shock collar, and he only BFRs Croc anyways because everything else he has does nothing to him. He's eleven feet tall, weighs 590 pounds in the game and goes through walls, bigass pipes, etc, as if they were nobody's business and instant kills you if he comes within five feet." @High Revolutionary said:

If it only didn't take one tactic to keep him away, he'd be terrifying (but he is anyways, for the first few minutes).
Other than that, and maybe Hush, I hear he's pretty much a joke everywhere, which is sort of sad. A writer could very easily make him someone dangerous.
Oh yeah:
There seems to be some misinformation on this. This guard (Aaron Cash) did not beat Killer Croc in hand-to-hand. He was actually scared to hell and back and was saved at the last second when Croc was shot with tranquilizer. Now, maybe he did it at some other time, but as far as I know (and I haven't finished Living Hell yet, I'm on issue five), he never did......and Croc bit off his hand the first time they "fought", whilst attacking something like a dozen other guards. And being restrained by chains.
I think Killer Croc is really cool, Iand there really is no point in this thread, this is based on one persons oppion that made other people agree with that person
yes but isnt Croc the master of 107 different fighting arts, has bulletproof skin, and can regenerate from
being reduced to a puddle of blood in half of a nanosecond?
well thats just what ive heard...
" @geraldthesloth said:still counts as a loss." @Sparda: Do you want me to spoil or no? "I just read number six and Cash jumps over him and tears out a piece of his back, but does that count as beating him in hand-to-hand? "
"I think Killer Croc is really cool, Iand there really is no point in this thread, this is based on one persons oppion that made other people agree with that person "
No, it is based on facts from the comics and the point is so that people will stop putting Killer Croc up against Spider-Man and Wolverine bad guys that outclass him.
i think its funny that you call it a 'little magical land' because it doesn't use powers. thats just silly. ive always hated that batman was included in the dc universe, i think it works far better when things like aliens and crap aren't referenced in gotham." @geraldthesloth said:

@Morpheus_:
Killer Croc is a great strategist. His "throw a rock at him" offensive maneuvers would certainly be envied by the likes of Napolean. Go ahead and laugh! Have you ever had a rock thrown at you?? It hurts! Especially if that rock makes contact and you don't just drop it next to your targets head before slipping off the edge of a hill.
Go throw rocks at each other and see if you still disagree with Mr. Green skins battle strategy.
