Kid Miracleman was a former friend of Miracleman when the two were in suspended animated training the two were believed to be killed by Gargunza both survived Miracleman lived life as his alter ego and while Kid kept his powers and became a corporate tycon the two reunited after Mike regained his Miracleman powers Kid attempted to kill Miracleman believing him a threat to his power Kid went insane being so powerful with no authority above him he almost killed Miracleman but said his name in battle reverting to his alter ego that of a helpless chile filled with guilt and shame. In his alter ego of Johnny Bates he was placed in foster care where he was picked by other kids and then molested in his tears he said Miracleman's name again and became Kid Miracleman who went on a super powered killing spree in London he was eventually forced into Johnny Bates againa where Miracleman crushed his head to stop altogether.
When Doctor McCarthy speaks the trigger word "Kimota," she becomes the super-being Miraclewoman.
