Being chosen as the first Geomancer, Khanit could not only communicate with the Earth, but had limited control of the Earth's elements. Said to be immortal, he served the Earth well for decades. But eventually his power corrupted Kahnit, and he used his gift for personal use. He knew this would anger the Earth, so he formed alliances with necromantic wizards, in hope of keeping his power. Meanwhile, the Earth had chosen his son Valurr as the new Geomancer. Battling his son, the Earth stripped Khanit momentarily of his powers, allowing Valurr to kill his father.
