    Ages ago, Erlik Khan created nine sons from important parts of his body, each with different titles and characteristics. Kerey was the best and strongest of them, having inherited huge mental powers and a great intellect. Kerey wanted to rebel against his father and take his place as the ruler of his territories, but was defeated an sealed under what would have become the Darvaza gas creater, or "Door to Hell".
