    Origin

    Little is known about Katerine Alruddin. As a young woman she travelled to Tar Valon to be trained at the White Tower. At some point before the Aiel War she was raised Accepted. She was raised Aes Sedai approximately three years after the end of the War. She joined the Black five years later.

    Creation

    Katerine was created by Robert Jordan for his book series The Wheel of Time, making her first appearance in the sixth book in the series, Lord of Chaos. She made her first appearance in comics in Wheel of Time: New Spring #2, written by Jordan and Chuck Dixon and illustrated by Mike Miller

    New Spring

    Katerine is an Accepted during the Aiel War. She is sent out of the White Tower to take a census of all the children who were born around Tar Valon during the Battle of the Shining Walls.

    Powers and Abilities

    Katerine is a channeler of fair strength. As a channeler, her lifespan is greatly expanded compared to regular humans. Though an Aes Sedai, she was released from the Three Oaths by her Oaths to the Dark One; their effects on her potential longevity are unknown.
