Oh...my god. Lets start with the Good...

The Good: Someone got paid to write this, and someone got paid to draw the art. DC should get at least one of those checks back.

The Bad: Open the book, look at page 1, then keep turning. If you don't read the words on the pages you might enjoy this book. You will not enjoy the story, or the dialogue. How do quality titles get cancelled while books like this get green lit in the first place? Lets look at the story for a minute, Katana's soul taker is broken, her husband is released and tells her to get over her love for him, move on blah blah blah. Katana's husbands soul in the sword is a main part of her story! Now not so much. Also Killer croc releases a giant dragon soul and calls it dude and then just swims off into the ocean after it. Did I mention a soul stole a piece of the sword to cut off a girls foot? This book is trash. As a rule of thumb I have purchased every single book in the new 52 line since day one. Even the really really bad ones. But even the worst of them don't compare to this. I'm not trying to be mean to Nocenti, but she has got to go. And maybe her editor too. Writing this bad should never see the light of day and if you're the person signing off on this garbage it's time to rethink your profession.

Summary: Run far far away. Don't read it. If you own it bag it and board it and forget it exists and maybe some day you'll get a dollar for it.
