    The Good:
The pacing of the current story arc (began in issue #44) is highly commendable. Each issue has brought just a little something more to the table and it's been a treat so far. The main premise of the current arc is a terrorist attack by the supervillain Scythe on Monument Point. The JSA were the first on the scene and managed to bring a stop to his rampage. However, we find out here that Scythe is not working alone and has apparently powerful allies who have arrived to assist him. We get the debut of a new villain here and once again we learn just enough about him to make me want to continue reading and learn more. We also get some help for the JSA from former allies like Mr. America and Blue Devil. The ending gives us another cliffhanger to keep me coming back for another issue of this fine story by Marc Guggenheim.

    The Bad:
The art by Kolins is amazing but there were a few characters portrayed in an odd light. Alan Scott & Lightning both had subtle appearance changes that weren't explained in full.

    The Bottom Line:
This book seems to be flying under everyone's radar and I have no idea why. It is a very good read and I can't wait for the next issue.
