We've seen a Crisis film and we've seen Tower of Babel. What's next?
Justice League of America
Team » Justice League of America appears in 3320 issues.
The Justice League (also known as the Justice League of America or the JLA) is a team comprised of the premier heroes of the DC Universe.
What's the Next JLA story that should be adapted into a Cartoon?
I'm actually hoping the next one isn't an adaptation. Sure, it's neat to see a favorite story in animated form, but I really think Timm and Co.'s best work is when they're doing an original story or at least an original twist on a story. My favorite Justice League, Batman, and Superman stories were all stand-alone one-shots. Year One was good, but so shot-for-shot that it was completely predictable. All-Star was well received, but I simply felt that it didn't adapt well to animation. I was happy to see Barda getting a bigger role in Apokalypse, but found it otherwise exactly like the comic.
The last time I really got a shocker out of one of these movies was First Flight, particularly when Boodika's scowling face appears out of the smoke. I never would have guessed her role in that movie.
With Cyborg's push I want something that would make his character feel like he really should be there. I mean I found his role in Doom to be okay but I don't know part of me feels it was a forced. So what I want is for them to have an non-adaptation plot one that would put the JL's newest addition in the position that he fits.
Something where Batman isn't the focus.....I'm actually still quite mad they cancelled the Teen Titans and Flash animated movies

Blackest night/ Brightest Day Green Lantern and Friends For a Movie prefarably 2 both over 90 mins ... Or Birds of Prey or JSA as a Tv show in general. I mean we have Batman shows, superman show, Teen Titans, Young Justice, Legion of superheroes, Justice League, Static shock, and a green Lantern one.
Personally I'd like to see World War III or Pain of the Gods adapted. Those are two interesting stories that would play out well in animated concept.
@Gambit1024: As cool as it would be to see Identity Crisis adapted, the raping of Sue Dibny could be seen as a controversial thing to put in a animated movie. I'm not sure whether if Identity Crisis was adapted whether they could make the film a 12 so that could eliminate a younger audience which is probably not what Warner Brothers would want to do.

Nah, somebody at DC personally sent me both scripts and I agreed that they needed more Batman :p

A collection of short stories--like Batman Gotham Knights or Green Lantern Emerald Warriors except it would spotlight different JLA members.
A Superman story, Batman story, Wonder Woman story, Green Lantern story, Flash story, Martian Manhunter story, Aquaman Story, Black Lightning story, Green Arrow story, Black Canary Story, Vixen Story, and Atom story. Each of these would be 10-15 mins and animated by a different Japanese Studio.
Then a short Justice League story that would be 22 mins.
I really like these movies and I have them all. I would like them to do something that sorta went with the DCAU. Like have a movie where it's after the last episode and the League is disbanded or something. I really wish they would go back to Justice League Unlimited as DC Nation...

Maybe they can make an adaptation of the first 6 issues in the New 52 JL series.
I got a good idea, guys; how about Heaven's Ladder? I could see that being a load of fun for animation especially with the sheer epicness of how things are in it! Just think about how crazy it'd be to see things like the Quantum Mechanics' machinations as well as the giant Zealot at the end! Another one, as Lvenger said on Page 1, would be World War III. Or hey, even JLA: Year One!

Now THAT sounds like an awesome idea, Captain. :) It reminds me too of one of the JLA 80-Page Giants when the team was scattered across time by Epoch. I could see that being a most excellente of an idea for a Justice League movie :D It'd also depend on the roster, but hey, it's all good. The JLA has a rich history of heroes and heroines who've joined their ranks, so I'm sre mixing and matching wouldn't hurt!

Japanese Studio. I was with it until he said that. Standard animation is all I want. Not anime. Not 3D. Not claymation. Standard.
Not necessarily a a Justice League adaptation, but I just want to see a freakin' Flash movie! Superman had All Star, Batman had Year One and Under the Red Hood, Green Lantern had First Flight and Emerald Knights, Wonder Woman even got her own movie... where is Flash!?
An Aquaman animated adaptation would also be cool, if done properly.
Or JLI. It would be awesome to see the Justice League International in their own movie.
Green Lantern: Rebirth, Sinestro Corps War, Blackest Night would all be spectacular to see. I'd like to see Infinite or Final Crisis as well.
But honestly, I'd like to see a focus on Aquaman for once.
@nandizzle: It's an integral part of the story. How could they leave it out? The film couldn't be called Identity Crisis unless it was revealed that Sue had been raped by Doctor Light. Therefore, Identity Crisis is not the best comic book storyline to be adapted into an animated feature IMO. Warner Bros would never consider it.
