Wasn't martian the manhunter Founding father member of the JLA?

Um... what?
he's wondering why a founding father of the League would only get a cameo in the upcoming JL movie.

@Avenging-X-Bolt: Nothing has been confirmed about the JL movie yet. MM only getting a cameo or having an actual role hasn't been said yet.
there has been at least one rumor stating that he might only have a cameo which, and several threads advocating this which is probably why this poor guy is confused. i personally am hoping that J'onn will be there

Thank you, Brother.
No problem

A cameo for jonn and aquaman would be lame
Yeah but one the companies has to think about demographic! :>
@THORSON: did you know wasp and antman are also founding fathers of avengers and yet they're not in the movie.
just use the most popular....get a good first film! then try to lure the crowd in more with more in deep JLA myth/lore

Fixed. i do not want them at all
Fixed what? Its the same thing i said
And too bad most people want them in and theyre real founding members unlike cyborg
I will be extremely disappointed if Aquaman is left out of the movie.
There is such a thing as too many characters when you have no lead in films. Leave it at five and give the characters some development. The Avengers only had a five person roster for most of the film.
Stick with these five:
Maybe add Cyborg in the end like Hawkeye, so he is there for like 20% of the film

I have no idea about the JLA movie, but I can confirm that in the original (1960's) Justice League of America series, Martian Manhunter was one of the founders of the group. In fact in the origin story (which appeared in #9 of said series) it was Superman and Batman who had cameo roles!
If the film does happen, why should Martian Manhunter and Aquaman get more than cameos? I mean, Hawkeye is my favorite Avengers and I was completely satisfied with his "cameo". It is hard to manage to get every character to shine throughout a movie. And if JL doesn't have a build up, just imagine how much more complicated that would be. You have Wonder Woman, Superman, Batman, Flash, and Green Lantern. All of them are typically known, but not known well enough. Throwing in two oddballs like Martian Manhunter (who is barely known at all) and Aquaman (who doesn't have the best reputation) could be unnecessary. I'd be fine with just the five I have listed before in the first movie. Then, if there is a sequel, introduce Martian Manhunter and Aquaman. Maybe throw in a Green Arrow cameo somewhere.
