The Justice League (also known as the Justice League of America or the JLA) is a team comprised of the premier heroes of the DC Universe.
JL Partnerships That Should Have Their Own Books
I'd read Cap Marvel and Cyborg, two characters I like conceptually but not read much about them. In Justice League Cyborg is the secretary / bus service and don't really see him fleshed out.

The first one already exists
The others sound interesting, although i dont think dc would give them more than a miniseries
But where does the shazam/cyborg partnership come from? Never heard of that
Here:
Johns also mentioned that Shazam and Cyborg will be friends when he joins the team. “They love throwing cars in the air and blowing them up,” said the writer. He added that they can’t high five, because the first time they do, Shazam short circuits Cyborg’s arm.

And here:
Johns also said Cyborg and Shazam will become good friends and may have a little fun with their powers, perhaps irresponsibly. “I want to create a friendship like Hal and Barry had and Ted and Booster had.”

...Or they could do a The Brave and The Bold book and experiment with an unlimited amount of parterships.

Batman and Wonder Woman
Damn when I open this topic I was gonna put that, but you beat me to it. I also have a feeling there would be a lot of sex in that book.

@StrangeMan: There is something to be said about quality (depth/continuity) over quantity (an unlimited number of revolving partnerships).
I know, but with many of these relationships we don't really know how good or interesting they could be, besides Superman/Batman and Fire/Ice the others don't seem to be able to hold a book. Not to say that they couldn't, but for now there really isn't anything that could prove otherwise. Besides, the same argument could be said the other way around, would we really want Hal and Barry teaming up over and over again when there are plenty of other more interesting reletionships out there?
I think the Cyborg and Shazam idea could have a lot of potential. Superman and Batman already have a series and honestly, anybody could've seen that coming. I'd love to see a friendship book of Aquaman and Wonder Woman though.
- Captain Atom and Firestorm
- Hawkman and Green Arrow

Fair deuce. There could be more interesting partnerships out there, but I think that DC would have a better chance consistently selling the same popular characters than a team up version of DC Comics Presents or National Comics, which feature characters people don't want to take a risk on. I think the revolving team thing could be interesting (critically), but after DC Comics Presents and National Comics, I don't think it would sell. If you have the same two characters over and over, then you at least have the same fan base over and over. Just my thoughts.

when did Hawkman and Green Arrow become friends?

This.
@Avenging-X-Bolt: They aren't friends yet, but a team-up book could have some interesting angles. If we can't have Hal and Ollie, Hawkman and Green Arrow could bring back the dichotimous, O'Neil odd couple days of liberal Ollie and whatever the hell Hawkman.
@OutlawRenegade: yeah. I'd definitely read Batman/Superman, Fire/Ice and Shazam/Cyborg.
Those books would be awesome.
Fire &O Ice really need some redemption after JLI.
And the Shazam & Cyborg relationship should be good. Cyborg needs someone to hang with nowadays. He doesn't have Beast Boy or even Nightwing to pal around with. And Billy's never had a really close super-powered pal. So really can't wait for those two to meet.

I agree with you about Fire/Ice and Cyborg/Shazam.
Fire/Ice need to be redeemed. With World's Finest probably getting canceled in the next wave, this would be a perfect time to bring them back together (maybe with Vixen even added to the mix). Their book could be a funny, meta, sexy, empowering female book--emphasizing the funny. Jimmy Palmiotti would be the ideal writer. He's done amazing stuff with Power Girl and the Daughters of the Dragon. I could see this starting as a back-up feature that develops into its own title.
Shazam and Cyborg's friendship has been compared to Ted and Booster's. I could see Cyborg being the nerdy Ted and Shazam being the immature Booster. That has me psyched because DC really does need a fun and funny bromance again. I'd love to see them prank the Flash or Green Lantern. And since they come from such different worlds, you can set their stories in pretty much any environment imaginable. They could be real equals, since they both have important powers in common like flight, strength, teleportation, etc. Billy's danger sense could lead to good times. Vic could help Billy find his biological parents. And the two of them could possibly outmatch Superman/Batman in battle. Possibly.
@Avenging-X-Bolt: They've had a couple of crossovers in the new DCnU and they're both JLA members. I'd like to see it, not sure if they're bosom buddies or BFFS.

ahhhh, i only ask because they despised each other pre-flashpoint. anywy it sounds like Johns will be hooking Ollie up with Simon Baz
I really enjoyed Black Lightning and Blue Devil during DCU Presents, so if they eventually had their own book, I'd buy it.
Superman and Batman are already getting their book, so I'll check that out.
I would buy a Cyborg & Shazam book, I think the fact that one's magic and the other is science makes it a perfect combination.
I'd also love to see a Green Lantern & Flash book. But I named three popular choices.
Booster Gold and Blue Beetle (Ted) would be a dream book..but that was already said too...
A team book I'd really be into would be like a revolving BatFamily book, kind of like in Gotham Knights, where it focuses on members of the Batfamily OTHER than Batman.
I'd like to see a Trinity book again, to be honest...
Maybe a team up book with Martian Manhunter? Since his solo's never really make it...
I kind of deviated from the OP but I love team up books, lol.
The Atom(Ray Palmer) and Hawkman
Martian Manhunter and Aquaman
yes
- Wonder Woman & Black Canary
- Wonder Woman & Zatanna
- Wonder Woman & Steve Trevor
- Wonder Woman & Batwoman (Yes, I know she is not in the JLA... but it would be awesome!)
Wonder Woman and Aquaman. Would be interesting since both of them are royalty and heavily tied to mythology.
I'd like to see a buddy cop series starring these two with a good writer who can successfully portray the best aspects of their various portrayals.im talking a hybrid of Gerard Jones political charged thinker/Dwayne McDuffie's stern military for John Stewart as well as Mark Waid's Fearless charmer/Geoff John's wisecracking flirt for Hal
I always thought it was weird how Geoff Johns established these two as best friends during his GL run but never actually did anything with them, you'd think with them being the two most popular Lantern's as well as being primary examples of both of their respective branches of the US Military, that DC could market them well and tell good stories with them.
...Or they could do a The Brave and The Bold book and experiment with an unlimited amount of parterships.
This idea sounds like a lot of fun.
- Wonder Woman & Black Canary
- Wonder Woman & Zatanna

Yeah I like these ideas too!
