Is this going to be the lineup for the origin arc (which is supposed to be in the past), or is this the "present day" lineup? Because it would be weird if Cyborg is one of the founding members.
Justice League of America
Team » Justice League of America appears in 3323 issues.
The Justice League (also known as the Justice League of America or the JLA) is a team comprised of the premier heroes of the DC Universe.
Jim Lee's Redesigned Justice League Fully Revealed
Would be nice if they redesigned some of the powers... maybe NERF superman? If he can do everything at least make him mediocre at everything. Slower than flash, dumber than batman, etc
so love jim lee , yikes he must be so busy with all teh redesigns plus the concept art for dcu online , no wonder all sat batman ant being finished lol
For the first time ever I think I'm going to have to add a Justice League title to my sub. You can't go wrong with that talent on a book.
Cyborg sucks. They should have replaced him with Steel if they wanted an African American character.
I like the new outfits, though I wish Wonder Woman would have kept the gold around her costume instead of the silver but other than that its fine.
Tim Drake is still Red Robin on the rebooted Teen Titans, and Damian is still Robin, only he's working with Bruce in the rebooted Batman & Robin
Who's that below The Atom?
And on the right, Mera? I don't hate her, but I feel like they're trying to force us on her too much. Sure she was important in Blackest Night (kind of) and definitely in Brightest Day, but do we really need her in the Justice League? Can't we just have her as a major character in Aquaman?
And what the HELL? No Martian Manhunter?
And Isn't Deadman supposed to be in Justice League Dark? That would make more since since I recall they said this Justice League would have 14 members, and Deadman there makes 15.
AND WHAT THE HELL? NO MARTIAN MANHUNTER?
I like this new style very much. Batman is finally wearing armor instead of blue spandex, Superman some kind of alien suit/armor, and nobody's wearing underwear on the outside. I don't know why Superman needs a belt, but I guess they needed some reminder of the old times. Batman's belt could be grey too, yellow's strange there.
So is Cyborg actually going to relevant now?
I actually would of preferred Static Shock or somebody else, maybe a completely new character,as the token black guy but its cool.............
Interesting indeed! I always had an issue with figuring out WHERE to start when it came to dc comics, but with this "revamp", maybe now I'll have a good starting point and can get my collection going there.
not bad, but good pictures are nothing without a good story. So lets wait till august 31st.
oh, and for everybody whos saything that cyborg shouldnt be there, he is currently in the justice league, its just in August when all the current members leave to go solo again to let the oldguard back in he'll just be staying (i mean we cant put him back with the teen titans)
I hate that Martian Manhunter isn't with JL but if JL atleast acknowledges MM existence i will be ok with it.
Im not 100% sold on the looks but i do like them. Superman's Belt shouId be yellow. I think they should have gone with the looks from DCUO for WonderWoman and Batman (w/o the armor) instead but other than that i like these looks. I even like the WW and batman looks i just think the DCUO comic look looked better.
its cool and but theirs no real change to aquaman, greenlantern or the the others, the onlys ones that are diffrent are wonder woman and supes.
Why Cyborg? I wish they'd switch him out for MM, but other than that, I think it looks cool. Aquaman, Flash, and GL seem pretty much the same anyway. I like WW's new look, but I don't care much for Supes and Batman.
The Justice League men: "Well first we all went out and got our hair done. Raul said that the ruffled, just out of bed look is in so that's what we went with! Then we went to Batman's tailor. He is an absolute genious! The whole time it was 'collars collars collars' and 'we have GOT to do something about those boots, boys.'"
I hate Wonder Woman's top. Look, in the 40's women wore girdles which would lift, structure, and hold together that sort of form so her costume made more sense at the time. But you wouldn't even wear a bra with a top like that now, she's looks saggy and trampy.
Not to mention chokers suck and nobody wears them anymore. Someone needs to tell illustrators that when they come up with these costumes for women.
Cyborg is a vast improvement! Superman and Batman look far better with pants. Aquaman...*meh*...still the same color scheme which I have never liked even if its more gold instead of orange. Not too drastic a change but the artwork is still great. I miss seeing stars on Wondie's costume but that's OK, still a great look for her.
