As A-Rym meets with Solomon Grundy on Earth-2, the JLA meets with the JSA to try to stop A-Rym's rampage.

Solomon Grundy.. The One And Only

Solomon Grundy has just defeated the combined forces of the Justice Society of America, and the Justice League of America. The two teams united to investigate a pair of aliens, A-Rym and Teppy, running amok on Earth-1, and Earth-2. The aliens share a symbiotic relationship, and have been driven mad by their separation. Both will die if not reunited within 36 hours. The Silver Age Superman revives, and engages Solomon Grundy. The two teams take the chance to regroup, and retreat with their injured members. Believing that the Silver Age Green Lantern can reunite him with Teppy, A-Rym attacks Solomon Grundy, to prevent him from killing the Silver Age Green Lantern.

Fighting a losing battle, the Justice Society of America, and the Justice League of America, withdraw from their conflict with Solomon Grundy. In the Batcave, the Golden Age Robin provides the Silver Age Robin with a new costume. Picture News reporter, Iris West Allen, arrives on board the Justice League of America's satellite headquarters, to care for her husband, the Flash, injured in an encounter with Teppy. The Justice League of America, and the Justice Society of America, regroup at the Justice Society of America's headquarters. The Silver Age Green Lantern wills an extra power ring into existence, to replace the Golden Age Green Lantern's stolen power ring.

After charging the rings, the Golden and Silver Age Green Lanterns head out to confront Solomon Grundy. The Golden and Silver Age Hawkmen join the Golden and Silver Age Robins to confront A-Rym. The Golden Age Robin wrests the Golden Age Green Lantern's power ring away from A-Rym. After beating the Silver Age Hawkman into unconsciousness, A-Rym turns to face the Silver Age Robin. Injured in the fight, A-Rym begins to wail and sob. Recognizing A-Rym for the child that he is, the Silver Age Robin comforts A-Rym. The Golden And Silver Age Green Lanterns engage Solomon Grundy. Working in unison, they just manage to subdue Solomon Grundy.

Returning Solomon Grundy to Slaughter Swamp, the Golden and Silver Age Green Lantern erect a power ring barrier around the area, to keep Solomon Grundy from getting back out. A-Rym and Teppy are near death. The Justice Society of America, and the Justice League of America, reunite A-Rym, with Teppy, on Earth-1. A-Rym and Teppy are immediately restored. E-Nes, and S-Kyr, arrive on Earth to collect A-Rym, and Teppy. The Golden and Silver Age Hawkmen condescendingly acknowledge the Golden and Silver Age Robins' contribution to the case. Meanwhile, a sniper targets Aquaman, the Batman and the Green Arrow.
