Okay so this issue is the BEST issue yet of this. The Issue starts with a nice little flashback that shows Jaime talking to Paco and Brenda about his origin.  So Max is experementing on Blue Beetle and Ivo finally learns a tun of stuff about the scarab. The JLI tell power Girl to warn the JLA and JSA about Max because they'd believe her. Blue Beetle escapes then he totally kicks Max's butt. Then the JLI arrive and..........................................

Max shoots Jaime through the head after gaining the upper hand so Max kills the Blue Beetle again! Great Death issue best death issue I've read Jaime dies a really good Death I mean I wish he didn't die but my God he died a heroic death after totally kicking Max's butt.

    Issue 19 in Justice League: Generation Lost.  The Story: We get a flashback with Jaime telling Paco and Brenda about Dan Garret and Ted Kord the 2 previous Blue Beetle's.In the present Beetle sends out a distress signal to the rest of the team,Power Girl leaves to warn everybody else.The team breaks in but Beetle gets shot by Max.  The Good: Winick does a great job with humour especially in the beginning with Paco and Brenda interrupting Jaime while he was giving the history lesson of the Beetle...

    Max-2, Beetles-0...  The Good  Once again Dustin Nguyen turns in an excellent cover. Always love the work he does on this title. This issue's very, "minimalist" would be the term I'd use. But sometimes the simplest approach truly is the best one. I love the use of color on this cover. The bold contrast of the black on red is perfectly complimented with just the appropriate shade and use of blue.    This week's flashback features Jaime talking to his friends about his powers and the fates of the ...
