    Kingdom not to come

    Speedy Review:

Good: Fast paced, great action, pulls of emotions, fantastic characterization, and story line see its end.

Winick has his best issue to date on this series.  He has done a great job putting together this team and building up.  Also, we see Max serve a purpose that was hinted at so it really wasn't a suprise.  However, the timing and the laser sharp stroke that this plot point reaches its end (and thus a begining of a new extention) was perfect.

Joe Bennett's art has not always warmed the my heart.  With this issue he steps it up another notch.  Most of the panels are fantastic.  No distractions and panels that are easy to follow.

Bad:  the issue ended, some flat art panels, and did I say the issue ended...

Recommendation:  Buy this issue.  It is not too late to jump on this book!
