    Justice League #50

Justice League #50 is the conclusion to the Darksied War storyline that started in Justice League with issue #40. The storyline has really been a blast to read and Geoff Johns doesn't pull any punches with the conclusion. The story feels very much like a large mult-book event despite only taking place in Justice League.

The conclusion to story brings many surprises twists that will have most likely have continous effects on the DCU in the years to come. Wonder Woman continues her narrative in this issue and it really shows how far Geoff Johns has come in his characterization of her. My only complaints with this issue were that I wish some of Justice League characters had a bit more focus and I would have liked to see certain other characters a bit longer. That being said, Johns does a great job of concluding the story in an interesting and unpredictable way.

Jason Fabok does the art for this 40+ page conclusion and it really looks fantastic. Fabok does an excellent job at capturing all of the characters involved with story as well as making the fight that occurs look stunning.

The ending to this storyline ties directly into Rebirth. I am extremely interested to see how the many seeds that Johns has planted with this grow in the DCU.

Since the beginning it was ambicious, it was entertaining, it was BIG, and this last issue doesn't let us down and bring us a great finish. If you are reading this review to know if this single issue is worth your money and time, or if it is a decent conclusion to a big story I would simply say YES, go read it now; but if you're more interested in...
