Batman and Green Lantern #5
Geoff Johns and Jim Lee are probably the most wanted comic creative team ever. Now that they are together and working on one of the most well known super-hero teams, is it what everyone though it would be?
THE GOOD:
The artist is Jim Lee so you know what to expect. It's brilliant art work and the details are astonishing. This issue was a week late but with all the detail and everything on the pages you don't even care. Jim Lee deserves his respect as one of the best comic artist ever. Geoff Johns is still taking his time with the story but it's a good one. In this issue we get to see Superman and Flash try to overcome omega beams, Batman think up one of his famous plans, and Green Lantern getting beaten. This issue sets a great finale for the next issue and I can't wait.
THE BAD:
This is the second issue of five, I feel that only a few characters are being used. It's a great issue but where is Cyborg, Aquaman and Wonder Woman. I'm sure you've heard that Aquaman only gets a few words and Wonder Woman gets a few lines. I think that they could've used them more. Also, when Hal is getting beat up, why didn't Aquaman take control like he did in issue four? Why didn't Wonder Woman kick butt like she did in issue three?
THE VERDICT: 4/5 (Great)
Justice League still remains to be thee book for DC Comics. It's been doing a great job at introducing characters and having them involved in conflict and an interesting plot. We are finally starting to see some of the big bad guy. The next issue is suppose to end this arch. It's going to answer questions like why they are doing this and other things that have been on my and hopefully a few others minds. This is a great comic and I think everyone will enjoy something about it.
