    Beyond the Justice League

    The Good

I was surprised to see a couple of bad reviews for this comic book because frankly, I rather enjoyed it. The story might seem like its been told over and over again. Shadowy governmental organization (CADMUS) forcing heroes (The Justice League) to do their dirty work for them against some mysterious and possibly evil opposition (The Five). But in between the common threads there are a few things that work at making this title worth reading for me. The first is the possible mystery behind who these Leaguers actually are. The second interesting facet is how they act when together. Nothing like their previous incarnations, this team bickers like a group of highschool cheerleaders.

the art in this title is not bad.

    The Bad

I'm not put off too much by anything about this book, really, but if I had to come up with something I guess I could see how some people might think it is a little bit of a cliche story and just set in the future. Mostly, though, I feel like people just need to scratch the surface a bit more.

The art is good but occasionally some of the faces look down right evil. Intended?

    The Verdict

I know I am going to keep reading. I would say give the first couple issues a shot and lets see if this develops into an interesting series.

Everyone that's a DC Comics fan, loves the Justice League in some past or present interpretation. So why not a future one? Well there are good and bad reasons why this is an ok comic instead of a great one. First of all, I greatly enjoy a League set years in the future with an ideal of these heroes living...
