Juliet Jones was the main mature (30ish) and level headed protagonist of a soap opera newspaper comic strip that detailed the trials, tribulations and heart ache of mainly she, her younger flighty sister and their widowed father.
Never had an on-going comic book series, but some of the strips were reprinted in comics, and there were three collections of the series. The only fantastic element in the series was that it was published for 50 years without any of the characters aging.
