Julian Edmond

Origin

Julian Edmond experiences a dream one night that would dramatically alter and has consequences for not only his own life, but those of the lives around him as well as his world. A rich and powerful man, Edmond takes direction from his dream and uses his resources to travel to a mystery dessert where he uses blind faith to find a buried monument. Edmond speculates the buried structure must be thousands of years old whilst he continues to unearth it. At a certain point Edmond begins to smash the ornate structure with a large hammer, causing a bright light to emanate from its point of breakage. Julian Edmond has uncovered and freed Wick. Wick the Father of Colors, the Lord and God. Edmond feels validated at his finding, and takes a moment to think of his doubters and skeptics who thought he was crazy with his search, including his wife. Wick speaks to Edmond, drawing awe from the middle aged man, they interact with Edmond still stunned. Wick returns with Edmond to the base camp he had established in searching the desert for the monument he dreamed. Now that Edmond realizes it was Wick he was searching for he fires all the workers he hired. Before they can react to Edmonds rambling Wick causes them all to disappear.

Edmond and Wick return to his wife Vera where she is shocked to met Wick, Wick would go on to transport and slaughter thousands of humans outside Vera's tent. Wick then tells Edmond he intends to learn about the world through him. Wick would also start to point out the errors and discrepancies that exist in the bible.

Creation

Julian Edmond is a fictional character created by renown horror writer Clive Barker, Mark Miller and artist Haemi Jang. The character first appears in Boom! Studios Next Testament series, specifically Clive Barker's Next Testament #1 - A Single Dream Can Spark A Revolution released in May 2013.
