Far future lawman Judge Dredd has been a mainstay of the British comics scene for almost thirty years and now you can follow his earliest cases in this vast collection of graphic novels.

This second volume features the very first Dredd epic The Cursed Earth, written by comic legends Pat Mills (Sláine) and John Wagner (A History of Violence) and featuring the art of Mike McMahon (ABC Warriors) and Brian Bolland (Batman: The Killing Joke).

Collects the Judge Dredd strips from 2000 AD, progs 61-115.

Contains the following storylines:

Despite the "Complete" name and the cover listing, this collection does not include the Dredd strip from progs 71-72 (Burger Wars) and 77-78 (Giants aren't Gentlemen, Soul Food). These were subject to a lawsuit for copyright infringement by McDonalds, Burger King, and Green Giant due to satirical elements directly referring to their properties; the out-of-court settlement included an agreement never to reprint these stories.

Judge Dredd 2: Electric Boogaloo 0

Judge Dredd: Complete Case Files 2 is must read stuff! Plus it was just reprinted for the US. Conveniently this collection starts out with the first Dredd mega epic, The Cursed Earth. Dredd has to trek across this savage wasteland and face all sorts of crazy menaces, to save Mega City 2! Even better, right after this leads into the second Dredd epic, The Day The Law Died, where Mega City One has it's own problems.   These are some of my early favorites, and when Dredd really started to rock...
