Ill Contrived Plot Comes to an ill, contrived Conclusion
The weird and unlikely team of Mr. Hyde and The Cobra have shown up again - this time in large part due to the machinations of Loki. The two make a poor team (both fictionally and actually), and it's surprising that this storyline has dragged on so long.
But the Hyde/Cobra/Loki axis isn't the only contrived thing here. Thor has used his time stopping powers (bet you didn't know he could do that) to keep a Jersey mansion in a time warp while he engages in pointless battles with Hyde and Cobra. Before the issue's out he'll also use his extensive knowledge of gadgets and electronics to flush out the hidden Cobra.
Meanwhile, Balder takes on a quest, at Odin's behest, that leads him on a path of many dangers which he (Thor-like) overcomes by pulling corny solutions out of thin air.
Divine intervention (literally) solves Thor's problems in the end.
The backup has even less polished art and a fairly predictable story with Thor coming up with a thoroughly goofy final blow to his enemy.
Yeah, this is an issue you can skip.
