I'm amazed there isn't a Hex respect thread yet. Please feel free to contribute, as I do not own every comic by Jonah Hex. I have a pretty healthy collection to get this thread started, but contributions are very welcome and much appreciated! Also, please note that this is just a rough draft. I'll clean everything up and organize it so it reads better as I put together a more complete respect thread. (sorry for the large pics, but it's easier for me to upload them as large originally and edit the page later into all thumbnails)
Jonah Hex

Jonah Hex throws his hatchet faster then his opponent can pick up a revolver and shoot back.
Tricks would be murders into stabbing an empty bed roll. His accuracy shows how he can shoot an ear off his opponent without killing him.
Showcases Hex's skill with dynamite, prep, accuracy, speed, acrobatics, punching power, and just being plain awesome.
Hex quick draws on 4 outlaws before they can even make a grab for their guns.
Hex protects Chako from a gang of 6 outlaws. He kills them all before they notice they've been fooled. He shoots so fast and accurate that no one is able to return a shot.
More examples of Hex's accuracy.
Unarmed skill, strength, speed, toughness, pain tolerance, accuracy, and fighting skills all in one brawl.
Prepares explosions to take out a gang while he is outnumbered.
Makes a shot sideways without even looking.
ex's skill with a sabre. He is able to sllce three bullets in half shot almost simultaneous from near point-blank range before cutting two men down with one swing. He then slices another bullet in half and stabs the remaining attacker.
A rattlesnake strikes at a passed out Hex. Hex comes to right when the snake attacks. Hex is so fast that he is able to shoot the snake in midstrike before it bites him.
Hex takes out a family of inbred killers, who feed their victims to alligators. He uses the alligators against them and has the strength to hold off the alligators from attacking him before he ultimately kills the gator too.
Hex's toughness and pain tolerance allow him to survive being hung for a longer period of time then any other normal human before El Diablo saves him.
Hex and El Diablo take out a gang of rapists and murderes.
Killing rival bounty hunters
Hex uses stealth to kill former soldiers who tortured him during the civil war.
Hex using the skills learned from the Apache with a hatchet during the civil war.
Hex going to war with a rival Native American tribe
Takes out 6 men, all with their already weapons drawn, before they can fire back.
Takes out all the guards of an Apache POW camp from long range.
Hex wins a dual with the Apache that betrayed him. Hex is given a broken hatchet but still wins. (side note: this is also where Hex gets the mark of the demon)
Takes out several soldiers while he is unarmed.
Uses dynamite to take out a group that is hunting him.
Hex shoots the eyes of a bear attacking him with ease.
Throws a girl from his horse who tries to backstab him. Then shoots down an entire group of men hunting him from long range all while atop his horse.
Dodges shotgun fire from point blank range.
Burns down a whorehouse, shoots down all the guards, and uses his incredible accuracy to shoot the Achilles tendon off of his target.
Dives from his horse and takes a guard captive all before anyone can pull a gun on him.
Shoots down several raiders and shoots dynamite thrown in mid-air.
Taking on a rival Native American tribe.
Awesome knife fight with the rival's chief.
Hex is holstered when an attacker tries to shoot him in the back. The attacker already has his gun drawn and aimed, but Hex is able to draw his gun and shoot before the attacker can even pull the trigger.
There is still a whole lot more to do. This is a work in progress.
