Devil's Paw
Jonah is on the trail of a thief named Montana. He's pursuing Montana and his gang through the desert to a place called Devil's Paw. When nighttime rolls around, the gang finds themselves being attacked, but not by Jonah.
This story was decent, but it felt disjointed. I wish it would have been broken up into a couple different stories. To me, the way it was put together just felt odd/strange. In the beginning, we are shown three young beautiful women getting off the stagecoach in a town that may not be the best place for a young woman to be. We then leave those three young ladies to follow the thief Montana and his gang escaping from a hold up in a different town. We are left not really knowing what's going on in the other place. The other spot that left me a little confused/lost was the Native American that shows up at the Devil's Paw and causes Montana's gang a bunch of trouble. I read over it a couple of times but was just kinda lost by that. There's not really any explanation to it and only pictures to try and figure out what is happening. Maybe I'm just slow and am not picking up on it. But I was a little confused as to why he was there, what was going on.
It was a decent issue none the less. Even with my confusion.
