Joe is first seen delivering pizzas to a group of women, but was being watched by a mysterious figure. He gives the girls their pizza, but they were vampires and intended to fee on Joe. Joe was thankfully saved by this figure, who killed a few of the vampires and scared the rest off. Joe is both thankful and scared, but he learns that the one who saved him was the Frankenstein Monster. The creature tells Joe that he is not a Pratt, but a Frankenstein and has been watching him. Joe is given a communication device that allows him to summon the monster.

After he leaves, Joe begins to wonder if what happened did really happen. He gets back to his job at a pizza place, but his boss is angry at him. Joe is

fired from his job by his boss, who is angry at Joe for being late on his deliveries and losing fifty dollars in pizza. Joe then leaves after that to go to his girlfriend's house. They were going on a date for burgers and a movie, but he got fired and is broke. He wants to watch TV at her place, but her parents are in, so she breaks up with him and kicks him out of her house.

He returns home in a bad mood, so he goes straight to bed. The next morning his foster brother wakes him up for breakfast. Again he wanders if what happened last night was real, so he presses down on the button to the communicator he was given. The creature answers the phone and after school, the creature has Joe picked up via limousine.

Joe is soon taken to the creature's lair where he is given a feast of pizza and chicken wings. There, the creature reaffirms what he said that Joe is not Joe Pratt, but Joe Frankenstein.
