Jérémy Petiqueux has a bright future in comics. He started alongside Philippe Delaby as colorist of the essential Murena. While continuing to paint, he took the time to produce a new series of pirates, Barracuda, written… by Jean Dufaux. Aspiring to a career in comics, Jérémy had the chance to start at the age of 17 in his region of Tournai alongside the famous cartoonist from Murena. He even obtained a "golden brush" at the Vaison-La-Romaine comic strip festival, rewarding his coloring of Murena's T5 in 2006. He also colors the Complainte des Landes perdus by the same authors and whose new episode just released. In November 2007, he started drawing his first album Barracuda. The output should occur around 2010-2011 at the start of Q3.
According to Henri Filippini, Jérémy Petiqueux has become in a few years one of the best artists of his generation.
