    Jennie Wood is the creator and writer of Flutter, a comic series. Flutter, Volume One: Hell Can Wait, the first graphic novel in the series, is available on 215 Ink. The Advocate calls Flutter one of the best LGBT graphic novels of 2013. She is also a contributor to the award-winning, New York Times best-selling comic anthology, FUBAR: Empire of the Rising Dead as well as the FUBAR: American History Z and Vic Boone: Bourbon and Buckshot anthologies. She writes non-fiction features for the educational website, infoplease.com, including a series on transgender-related issues. She recently completed the novel, A Boy Like Me, which features a transgendered protagonist, and she is currently recording original songs to go with it. Jennie worked on A Boy Like Me while participating in Grub Street’s year-long Novel Incubator program and the 2012 Sewanee Writers’ Conference. Jennie is one of Go Magazines Women We Love for 2013.
