Jason Todd was the second Robin, until he was brutally murdered by the Joker. After he was resurrected, Jason learned Batman didn't avenge his death. Anguished and seeking vengeance, he initially turned against his mentor and father figure and took on the Clown Prince's former identity: the Red Hood. He eventually returned to the Bat-Family and assembled a team of anti-heroes known as the Outlaws.
Puke face sounds more appropriate,and here I was thinking that Jason Todd was one of those few characters who became better after the reboot stupid "Joker manipulating his life since birth" retcon notwithstanding,but this is...WTF indeed.
However I do recall Lobdell stating that one of the upcoming issues would deal with Jason's role in Batman Incorporated(17?) and Jasons perfectly fine in INC,also possible that in the final colored version that gruesome face might be Joker without the face but still based on the way the Batman line is being written and DCs use of gimmicks I wouldn't at all be surprised if Jason was indeed maimed in some form.
I am SO glad that DotF ends in three days. The number of speculation threads and theories has been getting ridiculous, many of which are based on known-to-be-misleading solicits and covers.
