What I don't understand in "Under the Hood" is why Jason didn't killed Black Mask instead of just killing his henchmen, destroying his organization and humiliating him.
Usually the answer would be that author wanted to use him again, but Black Mask was killed by Catwoman exactly in the issue of her series that was published in the same month as the final of "Under the Hood". So why wasn't Jason allowed to do it?
