So again I question, why would Barbra and Jim Gordon show up to Jason's funeral? It's not like they were publicly associated with Bruce Wayne or his ward.

well, commissioner Gordon knows Bruce Wayne really well, not as batman (of course) so thats why. plus Barbara and Dick were obviously super close so she probably came for Dick's sake and Dick probably knew Jim Gordon as Dick and so also came to give his condolences to him (and Bruce)

no, Dick found out like 2 weeks after Jason died. Check out The New Titans #55.  Dick was with the titans on another planet when it happened. so he didn't make it to the funeral.  Bruce didn't even tell him. the Titans had this Tech. guy named Danny who found out. and the through the Titans computer Dick accessed the Batcave computer (with Bruce's password) and found out. Not even Alfred told him. "
