Three stories that portray Jason as about the same character

    Under the hood

    Lost days

And that one story where Jason tries to take cowl for himself

Other then these three stories Jason appears to be whatever dc want him to be

    Sidekick

    Teamplayer

    Rubberbullets

    Just a slightly edgier robin...

Another superhero with a stupid helmet

Another supervillain with a stupid helmet

Those three stories mean jack all to the current writer or the next writer

Hope this doesn't come off as whiny well sorry there's nothing I can do about it

If I said something you feel is inaccurate please feel free to comment

@lifeofvibe: being stagnant is never good for a character, it's just character development

@lifeofvibe: It's what happens when editorial has no idea what to do with a character. After one or two good stories (Under the Red Hood, Revenge of the Red Hood), DC just passed him around to subpar writers who made him into their own video game self-insert.

I'm surprised you consider Battle for the Cowl a story where Jason's characterization is in line with UTRH and LD when it couldn't be further from the truth. Jason is completely psychotic on BFTC because Daniels was trying to make him Dick's Joker by taking away any nuance he had and launching him into villainy by making him irredeemable.

Daniel: Yes. At this point he is beyond the point of no return in terms of ever being considered even remotely a hero. What I wanted to do here is put him in a place that he can't come back from. The things that he does here in Battle for the Cowl are things that can never really be forgiven. The only outcome would have to be imprisonment or something worse. But from this point on for Jason the gray area between good and bad has disappeared. It's crystal clear now that he is on the dark side.

Revenge of the Red Hood was one of the lamest stories I've read involving Jason.

Is there anyway could change this? Is there evidence that DC listens when you mail them?

But BFC was way after the Lazarus pit, and in the stories before he wasn't psychotic.

I think in his own book he has been pretty consistent since the reboot, I just can't stand how he is written when he appears in other Batfamily books (Guestappearences in other books like Batman/Superman have been actually quite solid imo).
