    Jason Todd

Character » Jason Todd appears in 1742 issues.

Jason Todd was the second Robin, until he was brutally murdered by the Joker. After he was resurrected, Jason learned Batman didn't avenge his death. Anguished and seeking vengeance, he initially turned against his mentor and father figure and took on the Clown Prince's former identity: the Red Hood. He eventually returned to the Bat-Family and assembled a team of anti-heroes known as the Outlaws.

Does Batman care about arresting Jason?

Excuse my ignorance, but if Jason is going around killing people, even if the people he's killing are thieves and villains, wouldn't Batman want to put him in Blackgate/Arkham? Or is he just cutting the dude some slack cause he died and whatnot?

Jason is operating more on a global scale (and currently on a space scale) whereas Batman still focuses more on Gotham.

He would try to help Jason, in his own way, Bruce feels he fail at Jason and for the same he let his emotions get in his way.

Also, Jason can get out of prision in seconds, so i dont see any reason why he would even try to do it.

It's probably not a good idea to take someone who you once adopted and who knows your secret identity and then put them into the system.

Jason's one of Bruce's weak points. Bruce tends to let his emotions get in the way when Jason's concerned. Jason also isn't operating in Gotham anymore (For the most part) and while you can always argue that Bruce should hunt him down, a counterargument can be made that by doing that he'd be leaving Gotham in the hands of Two-Face/Croc/Freeze/Penguin/Bane, etc. With his own adventures, Robin, the JLA, and now Batman Inc. Bruce simply doesn't have the time to go chasing after his wayward son. However, if he came to Gotham to do anything but help the Bat Family in a time of crisis Bruce would put him down. Hard. Though Jason knows his identity, so i'm not sure how he'd choose to handle him once the fight was over.
