    Jacob Reiss is a scientist and biological father of Alicia Masters. 
     
    When he was young, he became friends with Phillip Masters. Phillip eventually became jealous of Jacob and killed him. 
     
    When Alicia was sent back in time to 1947 with the Silver Surfer, she met her young father. She tried to warn him that Phillip would kill him, but he thought she was crazy.
