Jackdaw

Origin

Jackdaw is an elven archer from Otherworld, a magical realm which exists parallel to our own. He first appeared when he and his friends aided the Black Knight and Captain Britain in their quest to find Camelot. Once the group had reached Camelot Jackdaw stowed away in one of the pouches of the Black Knight's steed Valinor as they flew in search of the resting place of King Arthur. On their journey the three were attacked by the the Dragonlord Karadoc. Jackdaw used his archery skills to shoot one of the dragons in the eye and save them all from a fiery death over the great ocean of Otherworld. Once the dragons had been dispatched the trio arrived at the resting place of King Arthur where they were confronted by three stone guardians of the tomb. Jackdaw showed off his psychic abilities as he help the Black Knight in a mental attack on the stone guardians and resurrected King Arthur.

Death, Rebirth and Death Again

On his resurrection Arthur sent Jackdaw with Captain Britain to a parallel earth where all superheroes had been outlawed and killed. As Captain Britain's sidekick Jackdaw fought to help save this new earth before he was seeming killed when he jumped in front of an energy blast to save Cap's life. However, Jackdaw was resurrected in Otherworld by Merlin who sent him back to aid Captain Britain now sporting his own super hero costume. The pair met Saturnyne who was attempting to give the Earth-238 something called "The Push" which would set the Earth-238 on a drive of prosperity. No sooner had the push been accomplished the mutant Mad Jim Jaspers began corrupting reality with his powers. In an effort to destroy the superheroes, who they thought responsible for the reality bending, the corrupt government unleashed the Fury, a cybiote who had caused the deaths of all the heroes to previously inhabit this Earth. In the battle Jackdaw was stuck by a blast from the Fury and died in Captain Britain's arms believing that Merlin would once again resurrect him. However this was not the case and he never appeared again.

Powers

Jackdaw can fire mental blasts and has above average psychic powers. He can then use these to influence characters desicisions. Jackdaw is also an archer with great skill.

He also has been known to teleport between dimensions.
