Jack the Drought, so named because the destruction left in the wake of his battles leaves the land in a state of decay as if suffering from a drought, is the main antagonist of the Zou arc and a central antagonist of the Pirate Alliance Saga.

He is one of the Pirate Emperor Kaido's right hand men and Captains the Mammoth pirate ship following his Emperor's orders. After the defeat and capture of the former Warlord, Don Quixote Doflamingo, Jack went on a mission to rescue him from the marine transport ship holding him. However Jack was defeated by Admiral Fujitora, former Fleet Admiral Sengoku and several Vice Admirals, as a testament to his strength, he survived with only minor injuries. Jack fought for five days and five nights without rest against the formidable Mink Tribe. The leader's of this Tribe, Nekomamushi and Inuarashi took turns fighting him every twelve hours, although the Minks eventually gained the upper hand, they were never able to suppress Jack himself and both sides withdrew in a stalemate.
