Gwen, Spot, and Horatio are trapped underground with a horde of zombies – and unlike Gwen, these are the shambling, feast-on-the-flesh-of-the-living kind! Meanwhile, Gramps the Chimp sets out to find his lost grandson, Amon and Ellie make a startling discovery, and when The Dead Presidents arrive, things get very complicated for everyone's favorite zombie girl detective.

I, Zombie #16 The first thing I'd like to mention about this issue in particular is that this specific comic had the best smell to this whole series! I don't know why but it was almost comparable to the scent of an old book or something but I liked it a lot. (well that wasn't an awkward start at all) The issue starts out with Gwen and Horatio trying to reach Scott and they do! Meanwhile hordes of zombies are roaming above ground in town. Scott's two best friends are saved by his chimpanzee grand...

Falling into place 0

This issue, and the past few before, have been performing a massive juggling act where every character in the book (and it has a surprisingly large cast) gets a few pages in each issue to progress their own subplots and to march them all towards coming together with most or all of them coinciding.  And this issue continues that trend.  It's getting a bit old, being tossed from one character to another at breakneck pace and with little to no transition beyond my own act of physically turning page...
