    Street and Smith hero not to be confused with DC Comics hero Iron Munro.

    Creation

    Iron Munro debuted under the name Aarn Munro in the novel The Mightiest Machine, written by John W. Campbell, Jr and serialized in 5 parts in Astounding Stories magazine from December 1934 to April 1935, published by Street and Smith in 1940, he was recreated as a space hero in Shadow Comics #1 also published by Street and Smith.
