What is the Best Iron Man Armor?
While a I'm a major fan of the War Machine design, among the Iron Man armors my preferences goes for the Modular Armor.
Well for one simple reason, as the author orignal author of it ( Len Kaminski) noted, it doesn't matter how good Stark is at building armors, somehow he'll always need to add/modify/tweak something in order to face certain opponents (the first Hulkbuster armor was simply an extra layer of the modular) so it stand to reason to make the armor able to accept the modifications as easily as possible.
" okay if stark still has the shrapnel in his body, why can't he have vision go into ghost mode and remove it "because in order for vision to become tangible enough to affect, touch, and remove the piece of shrapnel. Guess what. He'll be tangible enough to also affect tony's body and organs. He can't touch the shrapnel or make it move without turning his hand tangible enough to do so...and if he does that it'll kill tony..as he'll be solidifying a part of his arm INSIDE of tony's body.
I don't see the question here
" Modular is my favorite, I always liked the animated show despite all it's shortcomings and his armor was cool.Didn't care too much for the show, but this armor being the one I knew in childhood is probably my favorite. In close second, is the classic late 60's/early 70's look.
Iron Man has had some fantastic suits of armour over the years, however I feel that a lot depends on when you had your first introduction to our iron clad hero. So, even though it's dull, clunky and crude in comparison to later versions, I'm going for the original grey armour. I found it quite scary as a kid and, I can only assume, so did his enemies.
it's relatively funny...Iron Man is one of my favorite heroes..Marvel or otherwise.
however I'm not a fan of the "flexible metallic mesh"..so his arms/legs look solid. I like the "movie-style" Iron man..where it has obvious joints and whatnot and LOOKS like it could actually be built instead of some metallic mesh-leotard that "hardens but remains flexible"
as far my favorite suit? as said...probably the one depicted in the movies "looks" the best to me.
My favorite suit is the War Machine,it's a walking tank on steroids. It has the most destructive firepower in it's arsenal, from the m134 Gatling gun to an anti tank high explosive missile launcher. It can withstand any attack and has a thick armor for the wearers protection. One man can dominate the battlefield donning the War Machine armor. You can change your weapons load out which makes it flexible for handling any kind of mission..
